Support the NY Bad Faith Bill

Are you passionate about ensuring policyholders receive the fair treatment they deserve?
Policyholders who pay their premiums deserve insurers that honor their commitments—but that's not always the reality. Too often, insurance companies deny benefits, misrepresent coverage, or undervalue claims, leaving consumers without the protection they've paid for. Shockingly, some experts' reports have even been falsified to justify denying claims, as seen with 144,000 Sandy claims that had to be reopened.

The New York Unfair Claims Practices Act aims to change this by holding insurers accountable for denying, delaying, or undervaluing claims unfairly. While the Act takes important steps, it still needs stronger consumer protections. That's why NYPAA has proposed critical revisions to ensure real accountability.

Your support is needed to drive this change. By donating to the New York Unfair Claims Practices Act, you'll help protect policyholders and demand fairness from insurers. Together, we can make a difference.
